At FERSAM Agroindustrial, we define technology and sustainability as cross-cutting axes of development, demonstrating our commitment to responsible and environmentally respectful business practices. We initiated the CRS (Sustainability in Soy) certification process in 2022, and we plan to obtain the RTRS (Round Table on Responsible Soy Association) certification in the short term.
In 2023, we began measuring the Carbon Footprint in beef production, with the aim of certifying it, thereby adding value to our export products.
Beyond certifications, we internally drive sustainability in all areas and projects as a development vision, accompanied by Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Livestock Practices (GLP) in production, as well as good practices in our processes.
In terms of technology, we utilize innovative tools to enhance the efficiency and profitability of our businesses.
From a business development perspective, we engage in supporting and investing in Agtech startups. We provide entrepreneurs with our expertise, assets, and business platform to boost their growth while actively accompanying them in their development. We are investors and members of the investment committee at Innventure (Venture Capital Fund), which focuses on investments in Agtech and technologies related to the food chain.
